Hello Darlings! I apologize for the sporadic posts of late. The Courtesan here has been busy at NY Fashion Week to peruse the lovely styles of the glitterati. Of course, most of the clothing on the runways are directed at the ladies.

Dapper gentleman are often unfairly overlooked. That is such a shame... Fall 2009 offers a stylish man plenty of dark, delicious wardrobe options. In this week's NY Times Men's fashion supplement, photographer Matthew Brooks produced a gorgeous editorial called "The Brothers Grim".

Louis Vuitton Styles the Gothic Diva?

Your favorite madam was invited to preview the luscious offerings of Louis Vuitton in their NYC showroom this evening. While many of you are familiar with this luxury brand and their relationship with the ladies who lunch, I bet you didn't know that they make exquisite accessories for Gothic divas like us as well? During the intimate cocktail party, I spotted this fabulous pair of shoes on display. On offer to the public come Fall 2009, they feature deliciously exaggerated shaped heels adorned with pearls. Red and black lace make up the body with sexy black velvet ribbon to tie seductively around your ankle. Who knew the establishment could be so edgy?
